🌟 Tarot Tip of the Week
Balance your interpretations.

With the Lions Gate Portal still active and an equinox approaching, this week is all about energetic equilibrium. When reading tarot, don’t rely solely on upright vs. reversed meanings — look for balance between intuition and logic, inner world and outer world, and what the card reveals versus what it asks of you. Every card contains a light and shadow. This week, practice reading both sides of the message.
🃏 Card of the Week — Justice
Justice Tarot Card

This week brings honest self-reflection, karmic balancing, important decisions, and alignment with your highest values. Move with integrity. Choose what aligns. Release what doesn’t.

Upright: Truth · Balance · Cause & Effect · Fairness · Alignment
Reversed: Avoidance · Imbalance · Dishonesty · Delayed decisions · Self-deception

🔢 Number of the Week
The Number 11 — Week of August 8–15, 2026

Justice is Major Arcana XI, and the number 11 is a master number associated with intuition, alignment, synchronicity, and spiritual gateways — all themes amplified by the Lions Gate Portal.

In the tarot: 11 represents clarity, truth, and the balance between the physical and spiritual realms.

This week ask yourself: What truth am I ready to acknowledge? What decision aligns with my highest self? Where is balance returning to my life?

Your personal week number: Add your Life Path number to 11. If the result is above 9, reduce it (e.g., 14 = 1+4 = 5). This number reveals your personal theme for the week.

🔢 Numerology — The Language of Numbers

Numerology is one of the oldest esoteric sciences — the study of the vibrational meaning of numbers and how they shape personality, timing, and life experience. Every number carries a distinct energy, and learning to read those energies unlocks a second layer of meaning in your tarot practice, your birth chart, and the patterns of your daily life.

🔢 Calculate Your Life Path Number

Your Life Path is the most important number in numerology — it reveals your core purpose and the overarching theme of your life. Enter your full birth date to calculate it.

The Nine Core Numbers

1 · The Leader

Independence & Originality

One is the number of the self, the pioneer, and the individual will. People with strong 1 energy are here to forge their own path, lead by example, and develop unshakable self-reliance. The shadow of 1 is ego, stubbornness, and difficulty receiving help.

Tarot: The Magician (I) · The Sun (XIX)
2 · The Peacemaker

Balance & Partnership

Two is the number of duality, cooperation, and the art of holding opposites in tension without forcing resolution. Two energy is sensitive, diplomatic, and deeply attuned to others — sometimes to the point of losing themselves in relationship. The shadow of 2 is codependency and indecision.

Tarot: The High Priestess (II) · Justice (XI)
3 · The Creator

Expression & Joy

Three is creative fire — the number of communication, artistic expression, social connection, and the joy of making things. Three energy is optimistic and magnetic but can scatter its gifts across too many directions. The shadow of 3 is superficiality and the fear of being truly seen.

Tarot: The Empress (III) · The World (XXI)
4 · The Builder

Structure & Foundation

Four is the number of earth, stability, hard work, and the patience to build something that lasts. Four energy is reliable, methodical, and deeply trustworthy — and can tip into rigidity, workaholism, and resistance to change. The shadow of 4 is being so focused on security that joy is sacrificed for it.

Tarot: The Emperor (IV) · The Wheel (X)
5 · The Adventurer

Freedom & Change

Five is the number of the senses, movement, and the hunger for experience. Five energy is adaptable, curious, and alive — and can become restless, impulsive, and commitment-phobic when the shadow takes over. The lesson of 5 is learning that freedom chosen consciously is different from freedom used as escape.

Tarot: The Hierophant (V) · The Lovers (VI)
6 · The Nurturer

Responsibility & Love

Six is the number of home, family, healing, and service. Six energy is warm, protective, and deeply caring — and can slide into martyrdom, control, and giving so much that resentment builds underneath. The shadow of 6 is confusing love with self-erasure.

Tarot: The Lovers (VI) · The Chariot (VII)
7 · The Seeker

Wisdom & Inner Truth

Seven is the most spiritually charged number — the number of the mystic, the analyst, and the seeker of hidden truth. Seven energy needs solitude, depth, and time to think. Its shadow is isolation, suspicion, and the tendency to mistake analysis for understanding.

Tarot: The Chariot (VII) · The Hermit (IX)
8 · The Achiever

Power & Abundance

Eight is the number of material mastery, ambition, and the ability to move between the material and spiritual worlds (the lemniscate — the infinity sign — is an 8 on its side). Eight energy builds empires and changes systems. Its shadow is using power as a substitute for genuine connection.

Tarot: Strength (VIII) · The Star (XVII)
9 · The Wise One

Completion & Compassion

Nine is the number of the old soul — the humanitarian, the artist, the healer who has lived many cycles and carries their accumulated wisdom. Nine energy is compassionate, idealistic, and drawn toward service. Its shadow is difficulty letting go of what has already completed, and a tendency toward martyrdom.

Tarot: The Hermit (IX) · The Moon (XVIII)
The Master Numbers — 11, 22, and 33: When your Life Path calculation produces 11, 22, or 33 before final reduction, these are Master Numbers — they carry amplified energy and are not reduced further. 11 is the Intuitive Visionary (double 1 energy, intensified). 22 is the Master Builder — the most powerful Life Path, capable of turning visionary ideas into real-world structures. 33 is the Master Teacher — rare, and carries a calling toward uplifting others at scale.

How Numerology Deepens Your Tarot Readings

The tarot is built on numerological structure. Every pip card in the Minor Arcana (Ace through Ten in each suit) carries the energy of its number across all four suits — the Fours are always about stability and structure, the Fives are always about disruption and change, the Eights are always about movement and momentum. When you know numerology, you can read any Minor Arcana card you've never studied simply by feeling the number's energy through the suit's element.

Aces · 1

New Beginnings

Pure potential, the seed of the suit's element. An unopened gift. Every Ace is an invitation.

Twos · 2

Choice & Balance

Duality, decision, and the pause between action. The moment before the path diverges.

Threes · 3

Growth & Collaboration

The initial vision begins to take form through effort and relationship. Early results.

Fours · 4

Stability & Rest

Consolidation, foundation, and the pause after effort. Can be restful or stagnant depending on context.

Fives · 5

Conflict & Change

Disruption, challenge, and the discomfort that precedes growth. The Fives are rarely comfortable.

Sixes · 6

Harmony & Recovery

Resolution after the Fives, generosity, and the return to balance. Often cards of healing.

Sevens · 7

Reflection & Assessment

Introspection, strategy, and the inner work required before the next move. What's real versus what's imagined.

Eights · 8

Movement & Mastery

Action, momentum, and the application of skill. The Eights are cards of doing, not just knowing.

Nines · 9

Completion & Integration

Near-completion, the final integration before the end of the cycle. Wisdom earned through experience.

Tens · 10

Endings & Transition

The full expression and completion of the suit's energy — and the threshold into a new cycle.

🕯️ How to Start Reading Tarot

You don't need years of study or a special gift to read tarot. You need curiosity, a willingness to trust yourself, and consistent practice. This is where to begin.

  • 1

Choose a deck that speaks to you visually

Don't start with a deck because someone told you it's the "right" one. Pick up the Rider-Waite-Smith if you want the most widely referenced imagery, or choose based purely on what draws your eye. Your relationship with your deck matters. The Rider-Waite is recommended for beginners because most learning resources reference its imagery directly.

  • 2

Start with the Major Arcana only

Pull the 22 Major Arcana cards out of the deck and work with just those for the first few weeks. They represent the core themes of human experience and learning them first gives you a powerful foundation before adding the 56 Minor Arcana cards.

  • 3

Pull a daily card every morning

Before you check your phone, shuffle your deck, ask "What do I need to know today?" and pull one card. Look at the imagery. What do you notice? How does it feel? Don't look up the meaning first — sit with your own impression. Then check it against a reference. This builds intuition faster than memorization alone.

  • 4

    Keep a tarot journal

Write down the card you pulled, what you felt when you saw it, your interpretation, and what actually happened during the day. Reviewing your journal after a few weeks reveals patterns and builds an incredibly personalized understanding of how each card speaks specifically to you.

  • 5

Learn the suits and their elements

Wands (Fire — passion, drive, creativity), Cups (Water — emotion, relationships, intuition), Swords (Air — thought, communication, conflict), Pentacles (Earth — money, body, material world). Once you feel these four energies, you can interpret any Minor Arcana card even if you've never studied it before.

  • 6

    Read for yourself before others

Practice on yourself until reading feels natural. When you do read for friends, tell them you're learning. Most people are generous and appreciative with students. Your confidence will build with every reading you give, even the imperfect ones — especially the imperfect ones.

The most important thing: Tarot is a tool for reflection, not a source of fixed answers. The real magic happens when the cards hold up a mirror and you recognize something true. That moment of recognition is yours — the cards just asked the right question.
